New Jersey Tech Council
President & Chief Executive Officer
Founded as New Jersey Technology Council, members include technology firms, law, accounting consulting, finance and other related businesses. Sponsors monthly networking events, also educational programs; NJTC Venture Fund early stage fund; and Jumpstart NJ Angel Network network of angel investors. Annual Venture Conference includes talks, exhibits from startups and emerging companies, attracts over 500 entrepreneurs, developers, investors, venture capitalists, lenders and other financing groups, awards for most promising start-ups.
Research and Development Council of New Jersey
Dr. Kathleen Scotto
Supports advancement of research and development in NJ, lead organization supporting development and fundraising for Liberty Science Center opened 1992 in Liberty State Park in Jersey City. Members include representatives from academia, government and industry. Recognizes most innovative patents in NJ through Thomas Alva Edison Patent Awards; sponsors STEM education program awarding scholarships to students in STEM related fields; holds forums for exchange of information among members including allocation of resources and management for research and technical activities; analyzes legislative, regulatory, and administrative proposals.

Chemistry Council of New Jersey
Founded 1955 as Chemical Industry Council of New Jersey as unit within NJ Chamber of Commerce, split off as independent organization 1985, changed to current name in 2001. Represents some 75 NJ manufacturers in business of chemistry, including traditional petrochemical producers, pharmaceutical companies, flavor and fragrance formulators, precious metal companies and research laboratories. Issues include air and water quality regulations, workplace safety, waste disposal, utility rates.

New Jersey Pharmaceutical Association for Science and Technology
Formerly NJ Pharmaceutical Discussion Group, began in 1950s as forum for pharmaceutical scientists in Northern NJ. Some 800 professionals, including scientists and engineers from pharmaceutical manufacturing companies, suppliers of chemicals, equipment and services to pharmaceutical industry, engaged in networking, discussion and continuing education in pharmaceutical science and technology. New Jersey Technology & Manufacturing Association
Incorporated 1945 as New Jersey Tooling and Manufacturing Association by small group of manufacturing companies, name changed September 2014 to The New Jersey Technology & Manufacturing Association. Over 100 members primarily engaged in manufacturing parts or products in metalworking trades, as well as those professional or industrial businesses or suppliers to manufacturing industry. Provides information, education and networking events and resources, represents interests of member companies on legislative and regulatory issues; offers discount purchasing programs; and serves as clearing house for exchange of ideas.
Innovative Partners Incubation-New Jersey Entrepreneurs Forum
New Jersey Entrepreneurs Forum originally established in 1980s by NJ Commission on Science & Technology on model of MIT Enterprise Forum, management later assumed by private Innovative Partners Incubation, spun off 1995 as independent non-profit corporation. Provides help to start-up companies, networking with entrepreneurs, investors, presentations of business plans, panel for comments, suggestions on financing, marketing.
