Toufayan will make a Guinness World Records Official Attempt to break the record for the Largest Display of Sandwich Wraps at this year’s Walk MS NJ event, on April 19th at Overpeck Park. Drawing on our line of 10 unique varieties including, whole wheat and gluten-free flavored wraps, Toufayan will create more than 700 unique sandwich varieties with the help of our friends from the neighborhood and the National MS Society with their amazing volunteers. Come out to watch us break the record right before your eyes! The Wrapathon starts at 10am in Ridgefield Park. Tune in to 95.5 WPLJ to hear the live radio broadcast of our record breaking attempt.

May 2, 2015 Toms River Food Fest - Toms River, New Jersey
Toms River Food Fest features the best local food trucks, arts, crafts and vendor booths, free children’s rides and live music from four great bands. Beyond food, guests can go shopping as the festival includes a number of local businesses with merchandise for sale. For the younger crowd, there will be kid-friendly rides, a rock climbing wall, face painting and more. Food this year includes barbeque, seafood, tacos, pizza, cheesesteaks and plenty of sweet treats. The fun begins on Saturday, May 2, from 11 am to 8 pm on Washington Street. Rain date is Sunday, May 3rd. Admission is FREE and open to the public. Just pay as you eat! The 21 and over crowd is invited to the beer and wine garden, sponsored by Toms River Fire Company #1.
May 9, 2015 Battle of the (meat) Balls - Bayonne, New Jersey
A one-day meatball tasting competition open to home, youth, and professional chefs. Contestants will submit their best balls for judging during this one-day public event, where spectators and guests are invited to attend and sample the best food North Jersey has to offer! Prizes will be given to best balls in each of the five categories: Traditional, Non-Traditional, Vegetarian/Vegan, Dessert, and “Best Balls” (a People’s Choice award). The event will showcase and celebrate our local chefs, of any and every level of cooking experience. Home chefs, Youth chefs (18 and younger) and Professional chefs are encouraged to register—each entry will be judged anonymously against all of the other entries in the category. The tasting competition itself will be open to the public, where guests can sample entries from the registrants, participate in games, and a 50/50 raffle. A Kids Corner will be available to entertain the little ones, where LHS will share it’s new Humane Education program, featuring Story Time and activities designed for young animal lovers and advocates.
